New Line Tiles Ltd Terms & Conditions

Delivery Charges

All deliveries are subject to a delivery charge. The applicable charge will be confirmed before the order is completed.

Measurements and Quantities

Customers are responsible for ordering the correct quantity of goods for their requirements.

New Line may assist in estimating the quantity required based on drawings, plans or measurements supplied by the Customer. However, final responsibility for confirming measurements and ordering the correct quantity remains with the Customer, their tiler, installer or other appointed agent.

Shade and Batch Variations

Due to the nature of tiles, flooring and other manufactured materials, variations in shade, colour, glaze, texture, pattern and finish may occur between batches.

New Line cannot guarantee that goods ordered at a later date will match goods supplied as part of a previous order. Customers should therefore ensure that they order a sufficient quantity to complete their project.

Samples and display products are provided as a general guide only and may not be identical to the goods currently available.

Product Images and Displays

Images of goods shown on our website, in brochures or in our showrooms are for illustrative purposes only.

Although we make every reasonable effort to display products accurately, we cannot guarantee that photographs, screen displays, samples or showroom displays will precisely reflect the colour, appearance, dimensions or finish of the goods supplied.

Goods and product packaging may vary slightly from the images or displays shown.

Delivery and Collection Estimates

Any delivery, collection or service date provided by New Line is an estimate only. Estimated dates apply only to goods that are in stock at the time the estimate is provided. New Line will not be liable for delays or for any financial or other loss arising directly or indirectly from a delay.

Returns

Left Overs Goods accepted for return must be returned in full, unopened and undamaged boxes and must be suitable for resale.

The Customer is responsible for returning accepted goods to the relevant New Line showroom. Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking charge, which may be amended from time to time.

This does not affect the Customer’s statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.

Inspection Before Installation

The Customer and their installer are responsible for inspecting all goods before installation.

Goods should be checked for:

  • Correct product and quantity

  • Shade and batch consistency

  • Colour, pattern and finish

  • Visible faults, defects or damage

  • Suitability for the intended installation

The Customer must ensure that they are satisfied with the goods before they are installed, laid, cut, drilled, altered or fixed.

New Line will not accept claims relating to visible defects, shade variations, incorrect products or other issues that should reasonably have been identified before installation once the goods have been installed or altered.

This does not affect the Customer’s statutory rights.

Independent Tradespeople

New Line may provide customers with contact details for independent tilers, plumbers, flooring installers or other tradespeople. In some circumstances, New Line may assist in arranging contact with a tradesperson on the Customer’s behalf.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, these tradespeople are self-employed independent contractors. They are not employees, representatives or agents of New Line.

New Line is not responsible for the availability, conduct, workmanship, pricing or performance of an independent tradesperson. Any agreement for work is entered into directly between the Customer and the tradesperson.

Special Orders

A special order is an order for goods that are not normally held in stock or that have been ordered, produced, cut or customised specifically for the Customer.

Once a special order has been confirmed and placed with the supplier, it cannot normally be cancelled, changed or returned, and no refund will be provided for a change of mind.

This restriction does not apply where goods are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied. The Customer’s statutory rights remain unaffected.
